Ginger Tea for when you’re sick:

  • 2 cups fresh water
  • 1 cup sliced fresh ginger
  • juice of one fresh lemon
  • honey to taste

Bring water to a rolling boil.  Add the ginger and the lemon juice, simmer for about 10 minutes.  Strain ginger and add honey to taste.

  1. I completely believe in the power of ginger tea. In the caribbean, it’s thought of very highly. I’ve never tried it with lemon juice, though, have to do that some time.
